The International Language Institute (ILI) has been providing language education since 1970. Founded in Washington, DC, ILI has grown into an established language education organization serving students from around the world.
ILI Maryland has been part of the Montgomery County community since 1995, offering English language instruction to international students, local residents, au pairs, and professionals seeking to improve their communication skills.
After many years in Gaithersburg, ILI Maryland is moving to a new learning center at 15850 Crabbs Branch Way, Suite 180, Derwood (Rockville), Maryland 20855.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide high-quality language instruction and academic preparation, in person or online, at a superior value, to satisfy the individual goals of those who choose to study for academic, professional, or personal reasons.
Our Programs
ILI Maryland offers English language programs for a wide range of learning objectives, including:
- Intensive English instruction for eligible international students
- Semi-intensive, evening, and Saturday English classes
- English classes for au pairs
- TOEFL preparation and private tutoring
- Customized language training for businesses and organizations
Beginning in Winter 2027, ILI Maryland also plans to offer group classes in Spanish, French, and Mandarin Chinese.
