Evening Program Information & Schedule
Evening English classes meet from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM Monday through Thursday evenings. Our evening Community English classes cover all of the basic language skill areas: speaking, listening comprehension, reading, and grammar. In addition, we include conversation, vocabulary development, American idioms, American culture, and pronunciation. Our methodology is practice-based. We offer five levels, from beginner to advanced. Each level in the evening is 24 weeks in length and 8 hours per week. There are six 4-week sessions for each level. Evening sessions begin every four weeks.

Registration
All new students can apply either online at our Registration page, via our paper application, or in person at the school. The minimum age is 16.
Placement Test
All new students are required to take a placement test and provide a writing sample to document literacy and to determine an individual’s proficiency level.
Evening English Program Completion Requirements
Successful completion requires a cumulative attendance rate of 80% and a course grade of 75% or higher for all coursework.

Saturday English classes meet from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM every Saturday. Our Saturday Community English classes cover all of the basic language skill areas: speaking, listening comprehension, reading, and grammar. In addition, we include conversation, vocabulary development, American idioms, American culture, and pronunciation. Our methodology is practice-based. Each level on Saturday is 24 weeks in length and 4 hours per week. There are six 4-week sessions for each level. Saturday sessions begin every four weeks.
